…funny. it was in there (I swear). I rechecked my interal build and it’s alive and well. I’ll update the openTwain lib with the enumerations, twain entry points and whatnot and post an update to opentwain. give it 2 days.
.
ok, its online. look at the june 2007 release. if you watch the output in the ide you’ll see the imageInfo and standard extImageInfo then I check for custom extImageInfo from 8000 – 8300. If you want to look for custom extImageInfo over 8300, bump the parameter to the sub.
lemme know if you have questions

Hey wilsont – I recently had a client wanting to use the CR-180 with my EZTwain library, and we couldn’t find the MICR information either. At least, it doesn’t show up as any kind of standard extended info, as far as EZTwain could tell.
But I’m skeptical that Canon would bother to create a TWAIN driver for a check scanner and not give access to the MICR data! My guess is it’s in a custom capability. If you are still interested, have one of these gadgets available, and want to try ‘one more thing’, I can talk you through how to do it interactively.
Hi,
I don’t want to be advertise other product on this forum but if you need MICR I would suggest to look on ISIS drivers. Regarding SDK to use ISIS Drivers new .NET toolkit from the same company coming soon.- AuthorPosts
