I write my progrem in C#. I Changed resolution in this way:
TwRC rc;
TwCapability tc;
TwFix32 f32 = new TwFix32();
f32.FromFloat(100);//value of DPI
tc = new TwCapability(TwCap.Xresolution, f32);
rc = DScap(appid, srcds, TwDG.Control, TwDAT.Capability, TwMSG.Set, tc);
if (rc != TwRC.Success) {
CloseSrc();
return false;
}f32.FromFloat(100);
tc = new TwCapability(TwCap.Yresolution, f32);
rc = DScap(appid, srcds, TwDG.Control, TwDAT.Capability, TwMSG.Set, tc);
cc = DScapcc(appid, srcds, TwDG.Control, TwDAT.Capability, TwMSG.Set, tc);
if (rc != TwRC.Success) {
CloseSrc();
return false;
}Hi!
Does anybody know, what means condition code ICAP_BUMMER, when I try to set some capabilities? TWAIN specification writes only: “General failure. Unload Source immediately”. What should I do to get ICAP_SUCCESS?Hello, ferro!
What can you tell about ICAP_PIXELTYPE capability? After your advice I could change brightness, but I still get error when try to set ICAP_PIXELTYPE.ferro, Thanks.
I used your code and changed brightness. But I saw one interesting thing: I set different values for short brightness, but reseive only three levels of this capability: dark(brightness < 20), normal(20) and light(>20). How can I get more graduations? May it be, that the reason is in code from constructor of TwCapability?Has anybody realy changed brightness or other capabilities? I still can’t do that 🙁
December 26, 2006 at 10:53 am in reply to: setting the capabilies doesn’t reflect on the Data Source UI #23558I faced the same problem. And many subjects in this forum tell about it (for examle about brightness capability). But nobody gave the full answer. The best what I received – all capabilities returned SUCCESS. But in real they don’t changed. 🙁
Aderdick7, Adedderenceten9, Dertenabup23, etc – stop spamming please. 😡
Забирайтеся до дідька, дістали вже!!! Куди дивляться модератори?Which operation system do you use? I have Windows XP, and everything works well with WIA, but with Twain I have some problems. may be it dependes on OS?
Is this important that twUI.ShowUI and twUI.ModalUI have FALSE meaning? I want to set brightness, but to show window with preview too.
Hi ff.in.twain,
I wrote my project in C#, that’s why I gave that link. If you use C++, you can look through article and sources on
http://www.codeproject.com/audio/twaintest.asp
I think, you shouldn’t change C++ to C#, because it is easier to use TWAIN in C++ than in C#.Hi ff.in.twain,
See
http://www.codeproject.com/dotnet/twaindotnet.asp
May be you’ll find answer there.Hello! I had a problem similar to yours: one source returned twrc_success, but another – twrc_failure. Then I changed value of ConType in TW_CAPABILITY and received twrc_success for that source.
I used ICAP_BRIGHTNESS, described on page 9-433 of the specification, but brightness hasn’t changed. Can you show that part of program code, where you do that?
Or how can I disable settings buttons on this standart form?
Have you resolved this bug? I have the same problem. I used GlobalLock and GlobalUnlock functions, but nothing had changed. I tried to work with different sources (camera, scanner), received TWRC_SUCCESS but resulting image was with contrast/brightness at default values.
