I am facing some difficulties with Fujitsu as well on Windows 7 machines. In house Fujitsu works with all of our OS permutations. It also works on %99 of computers out on the filed, except this site. This is related to a specific site with multiple systems (all with the same OS image). Fujitsu 7160 and 6130 won’t work with my .NET application, as well as TWAIN C#. It works just fine with Twacker. I think it comes down to Native vs .NET apps and the dlls statically loaded in to memory by native. I am guessing something is missing from the OS causing the TWAINDSM to not work for me. In my case Twain fails to load Fujitsu .ds file.
My issue FYI:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11085Ok. More investigation:
It turns out TWAIN C# app also fails to grab the device. Same error is “Could not Load Library”
Twacker works just fine. I am guessing (based on Twacker source code) things are statically loaded. With the .NET apps and the environment, some things might be missing and causing it. Not sure what though. Dependency Walker is not shedding any light on this matter.
I will post more info if I find any solution. In the meantime, I appreciate if someone can shed some light on this matter based on prior experience. Thanks!
