Hi!
I would like to ask, is the data source manager (Twain_32.dll), free to re-distribute?
The Twain Licence states that the Twain Toolkit is royalty-free and can be re-distributed. I would like to make sure that the Twain_32.dll is part of that license information.
Thanks!
I haven’t seen a windows OS in the last couple years that didn’t already have it (sidenote: I also haven’t looked closely at 64-bit or vista).
you shouldn’t need to, but now I’m curious – when/where does it seem you need to redist the dll?

Windows Server 2008 has some issues with Twain_32.dll. I need to re-install another version of twain_32.dll (1.6.0.3) in the root directory.
Will there be any issues with TWAIN license if I do that?
With no knowledge of the licensing of that dll and no knowledge of how those kinds of things work I can say with great certainty that it isn’t a problem (don’t listen to me for these kinds of questions as my judgment is questionable at best).
but I’m interested in the result.
Does that work (swapping the)? Does that address the issue? What is the Issue?.
