Hi Everyone,
newbie asking this question, so please forgive the terseness.
I would like to have a desktop sheet scanner – this is not a problem.
BUT
I have a browser based solution and I need to scan from the browser, display the scan on the browser, and will allow the user to accept the scan and will save it to a database.
I have searched high and low for a scanner that has a built in web server that has exposed webservice endpoints, but have come up empty handed.
I even talked to a upper level manager at minolta, but they do have anything that has this functionality.
so – with that being said, i may be forced to use a TWAIN driver and a couple of cobbled together programs on a spare computer to accomplish this goal, but that is really dirty and support will be a nightmare.
I was also thinking that maybe a little adruino system with TWAIN driver might provide some solution paths? does anyone have experience with that?
thank you
Check out products by Dynamsoft and Atalasoft, both support scanning from browsers…
