Reading thru the twain2d.pdf I see Cap_Segmented (pg 408/556) but it doesn’t appear in twain.h..?
Does anyone have a twain header with this defined? Where did it go?
?
no both of them are not included in my twain.h, but exactly do you mean by twain2d spec? is this the new one for TWAIN 2.0??
I didn’t write ‘twain2d spec’ I wrote ‘twain2d.pdf’. A while back the 1.9 spec was available from twain.org as a pdf named something odd looking, I think it was Spec1_9_197.pdf or something and that pdf at the top read Version 1.9. Then the spec was available as a pfd named twain2d.pdf and at the top the version reads 1.9a. I just checked and now the document is named TWAIN19.pdf and reads version 1.9a.
Somewhere between the 1.9 and 1.9a spec some changes where made (no, I don’t remember what they were) and when I originally wrote my wrapper library I had the 1.9 spec and when I went back thru the library to add code comments and markup to make intellisense work better, I noticed some differences (again, no memory of what they were) and I was disturbed enough by the differences that I took another 3 days re-re-checking my library against what was (at the time) a more current version of the spec.
So, when I ask question about the spec ( or should I say the specs? …or speci? ) I try to reference which document I’m reading in case someone clever has another version of the spec where they find the answer to my question..
