Hello,
i have a problem using a HP Scanjet 7650 with a TWAIN 2 application, the scanner is not available in the TWAIN scanner selection dialog. I’ve reproduced this behaviour with the twacker-tool from Twain.org, when i activate the usage of TWAIN 2.0, the scanner is not shown in the dialog. Setting twacker to twain 1, the scanner is shown and works.
The problem occurs on a Windows 2003 server, using citrix terminal server.
What i’ve already checked:
– TWAIN_32 directory
– twain.dll and twain32.dll files (Windows-directory)
– twaindsm.dll (Windows-System32)
– deleted TWAIN_32-directory from windows-user-dir
– configure registry to ignore TWAIN_32 in user’s dir for the applicationWhat else could cause this behaviour and how can i solve it?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards
One question one the way to answer your question:
Is Windows 2003 Server 32 bit or 64 bit?
Best regards,
KaijI’m not sure, i think, it is 32-bit.
I found a similar problem in the citrix-forums: http://forums.citrix.com/thread.jspa?threadID=329678&tstart=15
Seems to be a bug in the citrix-twain redirection when using version 2.x.Meanwhile we fixed the problem in our application via optional usage of the twain 1.x version interface.
Thank you anyway for your answer.
