Dear All
Does anyone know, is there a kind of “universal Scanner test tool” that reads out all capabilities and all supported values of any scanner?
Regards
Sektionschef
Hello Sektionschef,
There is a tool available on the twain.org website (http://twain.org/downloads.shtm) called TWACKER that can be used to call the capabilities from the TWAIN data source (driver.) It is not communicating with the scanner directly, but with the driver. To communicate directly with the scanner you would need the specific API’s for every device you are interested in, plus most vendor’s will not release that kind of information to 3rd parties.[/url]
I use dosadi’s twirl and twister when checking my code, they both seem stable
