Hi,
It’s possible to use one twain driver to manage concurrent request to two different multifunction printer?
I mean, if I have two MFPs , can I do two scan request in paralel using the same twain driver?
Kind regards,
JavierJavier,
I have answered you already by email. But to share it with the forum, the answer is in most cases no.
As you have asked for the use of the same MFP’s they have the same data source and .DS file.
So TWAIN DSM does not allow a selection. It can only be done in the TWAIN driver.
If the devices are connected by USB it is very unlikely that it is supported.
For IP connections it is not a hurdle but depends on the implementation of the hardware vendor. So it would be more easy to use different MFP*s with different DS files.
Best regards,
Kaij
