Last week I downloaded from the Internet the twain driver for Kodak i1210 and I have installed it in my PC. The driver is named “KODAK Scanner: i1210/i1220 9.23 (32-32)”.
Yesterday I physically installed the scanner but, although I didn’t run the installation CD, another driver now appears when I select a source: “WIA-KODAK i1210 Scanner 1.0 (32-32)”.
My scanning routine works fine or not depending on the source that I select at Open Source time. The first driver works just fine, but weird things happen when I select the source corresponding to the second driver (WIA-…).
Does anybody know the difference between those 2 twain drivers ?
Thanks in advance. Alvise.
wia isn’t twain.. not really. it’s windows image acquisition. I typically disable the service on my machines.
