Hi,
I am looking to disable the “No paper on ADF paper chute or Hopper (Code:DS32003)” TWAIN driver message that comes up when the pages on the feeder have been scanned in.
Is there a(n easy) way to do this?We are using a fi-5120C with Twain driver.
Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks. I have seen that page – but that deals with the message popping up during scanning, when there is still paper in the scanner.
In our case the message is valid – there is indeed no more paper in the ADF paper chute…We would like to be able to disable that message…
Thanks.
ah. bummer. you can ask the driver not to show the Ui and you can ask it not to show progress. Those are defined in the spec but they are just requests, the specification seems (to me) to lean toward the vendor’s point of view – if the vendor wants to show their Ui or progress they do it.
Error/warning/information dialogs aren’t covered in the (1.9) specification (I haven’t read the 2.0 spec). My advise (and this is what I do) is have another thread watch for dialogs you don’t like and have that thread send an appropriate message to the dialog to close it. I wish there were a twain function for what you’re asking for but there isn’t.
