In my Project i set the capability ICAP_UNDEFINEDIMAGESIZE true and my scanner can support the capability–ICAP_UNDEFINEDIMAGESIZE.
Then when i scan two paper the first`s length is longer than the second, everything is ok. but when the first`s length is shorter than the second there has a error message — double feed .Is here somebody can help me to solve this question?Thank a lot!
What transfer mode are you using?
Are you trying to make use of Icap_AutomaticBordedDetectionor or Icap_AutomaticDeskew?
Does Control.ImageInfo.MsgGet report the correct paper size when you call it in state 7 or are you getting -1?
What device are you testing with and have you checked the behavior with any other devices?
What is the goal? What leads you to using UndefinedImageSize?
.
Now I’m using TWSX_FILE,and I’ll make use of Icap_AutomaticBordedDetectionor and Icap_AutomaticDeskew
Does Control.ImageInfo.MsgGet report the correct paper size when you call it in state 7 or are you getting -1?
yes,imageinfo can report the size,it’s right….
What device are you testing with and have you checked the behavior with any other devices?
I`m now using Fujitsu’s scanner, and Fujitsu say it can support this capability.
What is the goal? What leads you to using UndefinedImageSize?
The goal is when user put many paper(paper size is different) on the scaner the scanner can recognize all the different paper size.
To gabe:
You said “Does Control.ImageInfo.MsgGet report the correct paper size when you call it in state 7 or are you getting -1?
“
You meant: DG_IMAGE/ DAT_IMAGEINFO/ MSG_GET, right?Interesting. What happens if you don’t set Icap_UndefinedImageSize to true and you leave Icap_AutomaticBordedDetection alone?
Then what happens when you play around with Icap_AutomaticBordedDetection while still leaving Icap_UndefinedImageSize alone.
I’ve never had to adjust Icap_UndefinedImageSize and my images seem to be roughly the right size – sometimes the scanner doesn’t figure out where the image ends but it is pretty close.
