Hello!
We are using our custom Twain application, without showing Source UI (ShowUI = false).
In fact we packaging native part with Java using JNI and running inside browser.We retrieve image successfully, but after calling MSG_DISABLEDS
we are receiving application crash right after PaperStream IP popup.[2824] CallTwain(DG_CONTROL, DAT_PENDINGXFERS, MSG_ENDXFER)
[2824] CallTwain(DG_CONTROL, DAT_PENDINGXFERS, MSG_ENDXFER): TWRC_SUCCESS
[2824] CallTwain(DG_CONTROL, DAT_PENDINGXFERS, MSG_RESET)
[2824] CallTwain(DG_CONTROL, DAT_PENDINGXFERS, MSG_RESET): TWRC_SUCCESS
[2824] CallTwain(DG_CONTROL, DAT_USERINTERFACE, MSG_DISABLEDS)
** CRASH **popup on screen:
PaperStream IP
[B2000]
Internal error occurred in the driver.
( 03-0000006D-100200D1 )After that, PaperStream IP Twain DS is not in usable state, only computer restart brings it back.
Any help on this matter is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

http://us.fujitsu.com/fcpaHello,
Are you using the latest version of PaperStream IP 1.7?
If not, can you plase download the lastest one from the link below and see if that fixes the problem?Best regards,

http://us.fujitsu.com/fcpaYes we are using PaperStreap IP 1.7 latest build.
Using WIA-fi-7160 as TWAIN source (apparently it is Twain proxy datasource for WIA native scanner driver)
Yelds better results but for example setting page size gives TWRC_FAILURE:TW_CAPABILITY twCap;
twCap.Cap = ICAP_SUPPORTEDSIZES;
twCap.ConType = TWON_ONEVALUE;
twCap.hContainer = (TW_HANDLE) GlobalAlloc(GHND, sizeof(TW_ONEVALUE));
pTW_ONEVALUE pVal = (pTW_ONEVALUE) GlobalLock(twCap.hContainer);
pVal->ItemType = TWTY_UINT16;
pVal->Item = TWSS_A4;
GlobalUnlock(twCap.hContainer);
CallTwainProc(&m_AppId,&m_Source,DG_CONTROL,DAT_CAPABILITY,MSG_SET,(TW_MEMREF)&twCap);
GlobalFree(twCap.hContainer);I’m getting a similar problem with my FJ 7180.
Im on the latest PaperStream drivers (PaperStream IP (TWAIN) 1.8.0.3303).
My application just freezes after all pages are scanned.
My twain log looks the following:
…
TWAIN_32.DLL – MESSAGE – CTWTRACE–Kendox Scan(14) to PaperStream IP fi-7180(15):
TWAIN_32.DLL – MESSAGE – CTWTRACE–CONTROL, STATUS, GET
TWAIN_32.DLL – MESSAGE – DSM –DsmEntryDiagExit (RC = 0, CC = 0)
TWAIN_32.DLL – MESSAGE – CTWTRACE–Kendox Scan(14) to NULL:
TWAIN_32.DLL – MESSAGE – CTWTRACE–CONTROL, IDENTITY, CLOSEDS
*CRASH*
I’m not getting a Pop-Up or anything. But the PaperStream stays in an unusable state aswell.
Closing all FJ & PaperStream processes makes the scanner usable again.I tried it on two different machines (both win7), and it just won’t work.
Are there any other logs I can activate/look into?
Regards
I am pretty sure I am running into the same issue, as described in this post:
http://twainforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10358&sid=e0ad3ba21de5b519ad35bb98c698e587
I was getting the popup error described by huksley. I have an application that was displaying a scanning toolbar in IE where you can select the driver you want to use. I had to add my URL to the list of “trusted sites” in Internet Explorer, as well as to the list of accepted pop-ups (Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab, Privacy tab). Once I did that, the scanning worked without any issues.
