Home › Forums › TWAIN Classic › Exception in Init() C# code:
Sometimes I used to get “Exception in Init()” in my code….which results restart in application or restart of EPSON PLQ22 device….following is the exception:
Exception in Init(): System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
at SP_EPSON_PLQ22.Twain.DSMparent(TwIdentity origin, IntPtr zeroptr, TwDG dg, TwDAT dat, TwMSG msg, IntPtr& refptr)
at SP_EPSON_PLQ22.Twain.Init(IntPtr hwndp)
Once the exception has occurred, USB doesn’t releases the resources…and that might be the cause of restarting an application….
