We are developing an application that performs recognition on sheets scanned from scanners using TWAIN.
However, when we switch between Fujitsu and Epson, the images are stretching vertically by 3.5%. By this, I mean that the Epson scanner is adding more white pixels around the actual image of the sheet.
This is causing problems for recognition. Is there any way to resolve this issue through TWAIN settings?
Thank you in advance.
Any ideas? I am using values such as TWSS_A4 via ICAP_SUPPORTEDSIZES.
For now, I have added some code to unstretch the sheets, but this is not a very reliable method, so I would like to know if there is a more reliable TWAIN-based approach.
Nvm, we adjusted our application’s non-TWAIN components so that this is no longer an issue.
