Hi, Ihave a problem.
I’m running Windows XP Pro and have a Dell Photo AIO 964 Printer, Scanner and Fax. I’m using a program called WYNN to scan pages of books so that WYNN can read the books back to me.
I’ve started having problems with scanning my books. The other day I scanned about 30 pages from a book in a large batch mode. After the scanning was finished, WYNN began to OCR the 30 pages scanned. After recognition was completed and I began to read through the first page. Subsuquently, when I when to page to in my document and all other pages!, it turns out that while the program went through the motions of scanning the document, when it came down to it it only coppied the first page.
Is there a buffer location that can be emptied and the scanner refreshed to think that it never scanned before?
Within WYNN it has an option on the SCANNER SELECTION page to close twain after each scann. However, after checking that box when it came time to scann the next page of the document, the scanning dialog box didn’t initiate a scan, but instead just went awaf into nothingness and would not scann again. I had to go back and uncheck the Close twain after each scan box. Then exit WYNN and restart WYNN and it would scan again.
Any ideas as to what is happening hear?
Thanks
Rob
