I am troubled by processing of ICAP_BITDEPTH of TWPT_RGB.
Which is righter between ICAP_BITDEPTH=24 and ICAP_BITDEPTH=8 in TWPT_RGB (24bit Color)?
TWAIN V1.9/V2.0 specification ICAP_BITDEPTH part
” This depth applies to all the data channels. (for instance, the R, G, and and B channels will all have this same bit depth for RGB data)”
Some drivers are mounted by TWPT_RGB(24bit Color) is ICAP_BITDEPTH=8.
However, with Sample DS, TWPT_RGB is ICAP_BITDEPTH=24.Are which right as for this?
TWAIN specification says in Chapter 4 – The Image Data and Its Layout – Changing the Image Attributes
BitsPerSample … Calculated by BitsPerPixel divided by SamplesPerPixel
BitsPerPixel … ICAP_BITDEPTH
So I think ICAP_BITDEPTH should be 24.
