Hi arsll,
I did some time ago such an application under Linux (videodev) and now I would like to switch to windows using Twain API.
I did similar tests as you did with twacker and eztwain.
I have a Philips ToUcam as well and it works fine with Twain, but only with the manufacturer’s GUI. When I suppress the manufacturer’s GUI to read the image data by myself and enable the data source (state 4->5), then I get an error with RC: TWRC_FAILURE and CC: TWCC_NODS. I have no idea why, since in state 4, I have initialized the required camera parameters as described in the Twain Spec. By the way, the same code works fine with my scanner to acquire an image.
Are you still interested in programming your own image processing application? May be we can share our knowledge related to Twain and image processing. My be someone can help out here? Thanks a lot.
