no it means your .net code isn’t loading on the corrent twain_32.dll.
This is going to be tricky for you as usually you don’t really call loadlibrary from .Net, most people just use DllImport and then specify the name of the dll so you end up with something like

but that isn’y going to load the twain_32 that you want. Instead of finding the twain_32-dll from the system you’re connected to the twain_32.dll under the user’s profile – which often won’t even exist.
You have a couple of options,
1) copy the twain_32.dll to the user’s windows director yunder their profile
2) dynamic pinvoke (if you’re using the 2.0 framework or greater) with
Marshal.GetDelegateForFunctionPointer
4) continue to let this fail in odd ways
